Hello Barracuda Parents!

I hope you all are enjoying the holidays! We’ve had an exciting “off-season’ and wanted to share some exciting updates and announcements with you! KEY UPDATES:

1. JRB BOARD POSITIONS have been updated with some new faces on the Board for next year.
   • We still have an open position for Spirit! Please send an email to [email protected] if you’re interested in helping keep the Barracuda Spirit alive next year! Primary responsibilities are planning for the Spirit Tent at meets (with help of volunteers to man the tent) and planning the Personal Best rewards for kids.
     
2. UPDATED WEBSITE PLATFORM - if you haven’t been to the www.johnsonranchbarracudas.com website lately, give it a look. We’ve moved to a new team platform, SwimTopia, that will help make our operations & meet management more efficient to run!
   
3. NEW WIRELESS TIMING SYSTEM has been purchased! The TimeDrops Wireless Timing System (same one used by Gold River at our away meet last year) has now been set up and tested at our Fall Swim Time Trial meet in November, so we’re all set to kick off the 2025 Swim Season with the new system!
   
4. LOOKING FOR SPONSORS - if you were a business sponsor last year and are interested in sponsoring again next year, or if you know any businesses in the area that might be interested, please email Amber Sutton, our Fundraising Chair to let her know!
   
5. REGISTRATION OPENS JAN 6TH. We’ll be using SwimTopia for this years registration. We’ve imported 2024 information to make the transition as seamless as possible. All you’ll need to do is go to our website (www.johnsonranchbarracudas.com) and request a password reset for the email you used for 2024 registration. Stay tuned for more to come leading up to the 6th.
